What is Alty / Gaby?
Alty, formerly known as Gaby, is a robust A.I. solution which offers products and services to online communities. It is a tool for community and group management, as well as for member enhanced engagement experience. Alty is also the world’s first platform, which enables cross channel functionality for instant messaging applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and Discord.
How do I join a group?
Head over to https://alty.com/search/ to find the group of you’d like to join. Click the Apply to Join button to view the application page. Fill out the form correctly and hit the submit button. A verify Success modal should pop up prompting you to verify your phone number. Click the verify your phone number in link (Whatsapp or Telegram) to complete your verification process.
If the Group has automatic Automatic user Approval enabled in the Alty Dashboard then you should be added to the group upon verification. Otherwise, you have to wait for an Admin of the group to accept your application.
What is a FIO address?
FIO Addresses act as the human-readable wallet identifier for users on the FIO Protocol. They are necessary for users to utilize all the capabilities of the FIO Protocol, but also serve as a replacement for complicated public addresses across all tokens and coins in the user's wallet.
FIO Crypto Handles have the construct of username@domain. An example FIO address with Alty is patrick@alty.
How do I get a FIO address?

How can my group take part in the ALTY games?
Alty Crypto Games are run weekly across ad-enabled chat groups in the Alty Network. You can contact an Alty Account Manager to facilitate a demo and have your chat-group shortlisted for future games.

Sign into https://app.alty.com/ and navigate to the Settings tab.
Fill in your new phone number and save your changes.
What does Alty bot do?
Alty Bot supercharges your chat-groups on Whatsapp and Telegram with premium community management functionalities, price commands, breaking news and up-to-date information on some of the world's top crypto projects.
Alty also gives each group member their own chat-wallet that lives across instant messaging apps. Send crypto from your Alty Wallet to your best friend across the world with a simple swipe to reply and /tip.
How can I make a suggestion / give feedback?
You can use /feedback in any Alty powered chat-group to have your feedback and suggestions shared directly with the Alty team.
How do I check my wallet balance?
There are a number of ways you check your wallet balance:
Type /balance in an Alty powered Whatsapp chat-group to receive a private message from the Alty Bot with your extended balance information;
Type /balance in an Alty powered Telegram chat-group to receive a link to the private chat with the bot. Now you can type /balance in this chat to receive your extended balance information;
You could also directly message the bot with the /balance if you have an already existing private chat with the bot on both Whatsapp and Telegram;
Lastly, you could sign in over at https://app.alty.com/ to easily see the balances in your Alty Wallet.
What are the bot commands?
See the commands page for a list of commands available.
There are several bot commands.
/hi & /menu will give you a quick list of useful commands that looks like this:
- 🎓 /demo to start an interactive tutorial
- 💲 /price will get you the price of a token (eg. /price btc).
- 📰 /news will get you the news of a token (eg. /news btc).
- ℹ /info will get you a detailed look on a token (eg. /info btc).
- 💰 /wallet to check your Alty Chat Wallet.
- 📆 /events to see what Crypto Events are available to you.
- 💸 /send will let you send crypto.
- 🧺 /receive display your deposit address(es).
- 📋 /KYC can get you Verified.
- 💡 /help will get you in touch with Chat Support.
- NEW: /fio will show you all fio wallet information.
- 💱 /swap allows you to swap tokens (coming soon).
Group-chat only Commands include:
- /presales will list you any available community-driven pre-ICO token sales from other community members and official Alty partners.
- /rules gets you the community rules and guidelines for the group chat.
Other commands include:
- /tip allows you to send someone crypto.
- /openwallet will get you a wallet activation contact link. If your wallet is already activated it will check your Alty Chat Wallet like /wallet.
- /feedback allows you to send a suggestion or feedback directly to the Alty Team.
- /invest gets you all available community investment opportunities. You'll need 1000 GABY to gain access to this command.
- /support gets you a link for platform specific online chat-support.
- /<any invalid command string> in a private chat will give you a short intro about alty and it’s features.

How do I reset my password?
Head over to https://cmd.alty.com/login. Assuming you are logged out, click the here button in “Forgot your password? Click here to Reset”. Follow the instructions that appear on screen to complete the process.
Alternatively, head over to https://app.alty.com/. Assuming you are logged out, click the Sign In with E-mail button. Next, click the Forgot Password? button bottom right of the password input box. Follow the instructions that appear on screen to complete the process
What is the dollar value of an Alty/Gaby token?
The Alty token is forecasted to have a presale value of $0.25 USD, and a launch value of $0.50 USD. After its launch the value will be displayed in your member console. It will also be publicly trackable like any other crypto token.
How can I invest in Alty / How can I become a stakeholder?
The initial capital investment period is over. However, with our upcoming Alty Token launch you would be able to have a stake in Alty like you would any other crypto company.
How do I become a part of the Alty Team?
Head over to https://alty.com/careers/ to see our listing of open positions. Select the position you would like to apply for and click Apply for this Job.
Why Can’t I find my group on the Alty search page?
There are a couple of reasons why your group is not being displayed.
The most common reason your group is not showing up is because the group admin has not enabled Add my Chatgroup to the Community Portal on the dashboard. Sign in over at cmd.alty.com and select the group you want to list on the Alty Search page. Next, head over to settings and enable Add my Chatgroup to the Community Portal.
The other reason could be that your Chatgroup simply does not have enough members. To be shown on the Search page, chatgroups are required to have a minimum of 20 members.

How do I sign into the Alty App?
Head over to https://app.alty.com/login and sign in with your email and password, or with Metamask (Web3).
If you do not already have an account with Alty, click the Sign Up button to initiate the signup process. Afterwards you would be able to sign in to the Alty App.
How do I update my Alty user profile?
Sign in over at https://console.alty.com. Navigate to the Settings section via the navigation bar to the left. Update the settings that you want to update. When you are finished click the Save Changes button at the bottom.
What tokens can I have in my ALTY wallet?
Currently the tokens you can hold in the Alty wallet are: Algorand, Bitcoin, Ethereum, FIO Protocol, and USDT.
How do I change my withdrawal address?
Sign in over at https://app.alty.com. Navigate to the FIO section via the navigation bar to the left. Select the Address Mapping tab. Input the FIO Address you want to associate with your new withdrawal address. Input the blockchain address (choose from BTC, ETH, ALGO, and FIO). Enter the associated public address. Click the Mapping button.
Note that you can only have one public address for each blockchain per FIO Address. I.e. the FIO Address patrick@alty can only have one ALGO public address mapped to it. For example, adding another mapping to FIO + Algo combination will overwrite any previous mapping.
How do I exchange my FIO for Algo?
Unfortunately at this moment there is no way to directly exchange your FIO for Algo. One solution would have to transfer from your Alty Wallet to your favourite crypto exchange and go from there.
Any other normal ways of exchanging crypto would also work.
How can I see my Transaction History?
Sign into https://app.alty.com/. Navigate to the History section via the navigation bar to the left. Here you will be able to see both your outgoing and incoming Alty Wallet transaction history.
Can I sign in with Web3?
Yes. Alty has a Web3 Login with Metamask. Head over to https://app.alty.com/login and click the Sign In with Metamask button to use it. Note that you must have Metamask to use it.
How do I connect my Metamask wallet?
Sign in over at https://app.alty.com/. Navigate to the My Wallets section via the navigation bar to the left. Next, click the Wallet Connections tab to the top right. If you do not have MetaMask installed you have to go ahead and install it, otherwise the Connect to MetaMask button will be grayed out.
After you install MetaMask come back to this tab and the Connect to MetaMask button should be available to click.
Make sure you are logged in to your MetaMask. If you are not logged in, click the MetaMask browser extension to log in. Fill in your password and press Unlock.
Click the Connect to MetaMask and a popup window should appear prompting you to Connect With MetaMask. Click Next and then Connect.
To finalize this process, click the Add to Portfolio button and another popup window should appear prompting you for a Signature Request. Click Sign you are finished.
You will be able to view your wallet information with Alty as well as sign in with MetaMask going forward.
If you ever want to delete the connection simply click the Delete button next to your Current Staking Ethereum address.
How do I connect to MyAlgowallet?
First make sure you have an active MyAlgoWallet here: . Sign into https://app.alty.com/. Navigate to the My Wallets section via the navigation bar to the left. Next, click the Wallet Connections tab to the top right then the Connect to MyAlgoWallet button to the bottom right. A connection request window will appear prompting you to enter your password to connect to your MyAlgoWallet. Once you sign in correctly, assuming you have a wallet connected to your MyAlgoWallet the connection should be complete.
Once you sign in correctly, assuming you have a verified wallet connected to your MyAlgoWallet the next step is to click Add to Portfolio.
A transfer request window will appear prompting you to once again enter your password to connect to your MyAlgoWallet in order to Sign the Transaction.
Once you successfully sign the transaction your Current Staking Algorand address should be listed. This signifies that you have successfully connected your MyAlgoWallet.
How do FIO Address Transfers work?
Sign into https://app.alty.com/. Navigate to the FIO section via the navigation bar to the left. Make sure you have at least one FIO address connected to your Alty account. Click the ⇄ Transfer button for the FIO address to start the transfer process. Enter the new owner’s public key of the FIO address you want to transfer to.
BE EXTRA CAREFUL TO ENTER THE CORRECT PUBLIC KEY OF THE NEW ADDRESS AS SENDING TO THE WRONG ADDRESS COULD RESULT IN A LOSS OF YOUR FUNDS.
Click Transfer when you are ABSOLUTELY SURE to complete the transfer.
Note that this process requires a small FIO fee in order to be done.
How do I purchase a new FIO Domain?
Sign into https://app.alty.com/. Navigate to the FIO section via the navigation bar to the left. Click the Domains tab to the top. Next click the +New Domain button in the top right. A modal will open up prompting you to enter the name of the new domain that you want. Click Create when you are ready to close the modal and create the new domain.
If the domain name is not available or you do not have enough FIO to cover the fee then you will get the corresponding failure notification. Click the +New Domain button to try again.
Otherwise, if the domain name is available, and you have a sufficient FIO balance to pay the fee then the process will be successful and you will receive success notification to the top right.
How do I set up Automatic Withdrawal?
Sign into https://app.alty.com/. Navigate to the My Wallets section via the navigation bar to the left. Next, click the Withdrawal Settings tab to the top right.
If you do not have a MyAlgoWallet account connected you will be required to add one in order to enable automatic withdrawal.
If you have a MyAlgoWallet account simply click the Enable withdrawal button and then choose the condition you want the automatic withdrawal to operate by.
If you ever want to cancel the automatic withdrawal simply click the Remove Automation button.
Can my Alty wallet hold multiple addresses?
Yes, your Alty Wallet is capable of holding multiple addresses.
At the moment you can map one(1) BTC, ETH, FIO, and ALGO address to each FIO handle you own. You can also connect your Metamask as well as your MyAlgoWallet to your Alty Wallet.

How do I add a chat group to my Alty dashboard?
Sign in over at https://cmd.alty.com/. Click the + Add Chat Group to the top or the Add Group button to the right. A modal will popup prompting you to enter your group’s invite link (Whatsapp or Telegram).

If you want your group to be listed in our search be sure to tick the Promote my group checkbox.
You will receive a notification letting you know that the process may take up to 30 seconds.
After a short while the Alty Bot should be added to your chat group. Refresh the Alty Dashboard page to see your newly added group.
How do I find my group’s Alty application link?
Sign in over at https://cmd.alty.com/. Navigate to the Community section via the navigation bar to the left. Click the Group that you would like to find the Alty application link for.
Click the Get New Members button to the top right.
The link will be displayed. Click the copy icon to copy the text.
How do I make my group Premium?
Sign in over at https://cmd.alty.com/. Navigate to the Community section via the navigation bar to the left. Select the Group that you would like to make Premium.
Click the Settings tab and scroll down to the Premium Status section at the bottom. Click the Premium option then select your Token choice, input the Staking Price, and select Grace period. Click save when you are satisfied with your premium settings.
WARNING: ANY MEMBERS WHO DO NOT STAKE THE SELECTED AMOUNT OF TOKENS BEFORE THE END OF THEIR GRACE PERIOD WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE REMOVED FROM THE GROUP.
What is a Community Vault?
The Community Vault is where you can see the crypto you have earned via Alty Ads for all the groups you are an admin of. Every number of times a /price, /news, or /info command is sent to the Alty Bot an ad will be added onto the response:

Every ad played earns you a small amount of crypto.
To see your Community Vault sign in over at https://cmd.alty.com/. Navigate to the Community Vault section via the navigation bar to the left.
How do I enable Ads in my group?
Sign in over at https://cmd.alty.com/. Navigate to the Community section via the navigation bar to the left. Click the Earn Crypto tab. From there, toggle each of the switches, under the Active column to enable each ad. To preview the content of an ad click its corresponding View Advert button to the right.
How do I change my group’s Application Page Cover Photo?
Sign in over at https://cmd.alty.com/. Navigate to the Community section via the navigation bar to the left. Select the group you want to change the photo for.
Click the Settings tab and then upload the photo you would like to be your group’s application page banner photo. Click Save to make the changes.
The cover photo for your group’s application page (e.g. alty.com/application/dev-alty-test-172/) will now be updated.
